The process

GaiaMaya is an handmade product and every creation is unique.
Each piece is made in ABS by 3d pen and built completely by hand by Lorella Pierdicca, and it's the result of a meticulous and detailed process, requiring a careful and quiet state of listening in harmony with the rhythm of time.

The original production method is the result of an experimentation process that has allowed me to exceed the technical limits of the instrument, identifying and turning them into characterising elements. The particular welding, that I've called morula, has been developed to obtain light-weight and flexible structures, guaranteeing solidity and resistance.

GaiaMaya è un prodotto artigianale e ogni creazione è unica.
Ogni opera è costruita in ABS completamente a mano con penna 3d da Lorella Pierdicca, ed è il risultato di un processo meticoloso e paziente, che ha come condizione necessaria un attento e quieto stato d’ascolto in armonia col ritmo del tempo.

L'originale metodo di lavorazione è il risultato di un processo di sperimentazione che ha permesso di oltrepassare i limiti tecnici dello strumento, individuandoli e tramutandoli in elementi caratterizzanti. La particolare saldatura a morula è stata messa a punto per ottenere strutture leggere e flessibili, garantendo allo stesso tempo solidità e resistenza.
